About Kalp Greens

Kalp Greens is located right on the Sanand-Nalsarovar main road. The road leads to Asia largest natural migratory birds resort and lake. Nalsarovar! Within a last couple of years the road has witnessed great development in terms of tourism, real estate and overall ambience. Tens of projects have and are being constructed. Sanand too, has been given the status of Ahmedabad satellite town. The peripheral circular growth and expansion of Ahmedabad is also a great winning factor. With areas that were considered far and out-of-bounds are now distinctly prime locations. Kalp Green offers plots ranging from 300 sq.yards to 900 sq.yards fitting everybody's budget. With development as fast as this, it wouldn't be much of a surprise to anybody if the entire Sanand Nalsarovar patch sees a great economic boom in the very near future! The Lord Mutthapan Temple Lord Muthappan is believed to be the personification of two divine figures Thiruvappana and Vellatom. The dual divine figures Thiruvappana and Vellatom are similar to those of the Theyyamkaliyattem of the northern Malabar region. Though Sree Muthappan is worshiped as a single deity, it actually represents an integrated or unified form of two Gods: Lord Vishnu (with a fish-shaped crown) and Lord Shiva (with a crescent-shaped crown). Rituals of the temple are unique! They do not follow the Satvic Brahminical form of worship, as in other Hindu temples of Kerala. The main mode of worship is the ritual enactment of both the characters of Lord Muthappan, through a traditional dance known as Muthappan Theyyam. Muthappan Thiruvoppana Mahothsavam is the major festival of the temple, celebrated for three days every year on 19, 20 and 21 of Kumbham (the days correspond to 3, 4 and 5 March). Kalp Greens is blessed to have the divine presence of the Lord Shri Muthappan and His temple in its project.
